My usual get-to-sleep trick is to count slowly backwards from 100 to 0. It usually works; I rarely get below 70. But if I reach zero, I get up and do something, and try again when I'm more tired.
Going for a walk would be best for getting me to sleep, but I'd be challenged to put on clothes without waking Lori. Perhaps I'll prepare for D&D, or watch our taped episode of Angel, or perhaps just putz around on the net.
