Autism Quotient

According to this test, I got an autism quotient of 33, just higher than the benchmark number of 32 that they quote.

I'm not too surprised, really--a lot of the troubles I have could be interpreted as minor levels of autism.

I remember a Newsweek article on autism, which had a sidebar that said something like, "Normal people typically have no trouble ascribing emotions to these pictures of people's eyes, but autistics folks often have trouble." I had no clue what those eyes meant.

But hey, I seem to be functioning in society pretty well.
