(no subject)

There's little denying that I've been in a slump lately. One sign: I haven't been posting LJ entries for about two months. But I'm also being sluggish at work--despite good intentions, I slip into a sluggish procrastination that reminds me of the worst times of grad school.

Journal entries I've been meaning to write and composing in my head:
- We're getting lots of work done on the outside of our house. New siding, windows, gutters, insulation, roof.
- Our Christmas party was a bit small and low-key, but nice.
- I went out to MacWorld the week of january 9-14. Lots of positive feedback on the floor, got to see Laura and Jeff, spent nice times with Josh Flowers.

iWork sales

Ever since iWork was released in January of 2005, we've wanted to know how it was selling. We'd read rumors that it was selling horribly; in response to those rumors, my boss would say that the rumors were way off, but not provide any specific information.

Well, we still don't have any specific information, but we have this very gratifying public information: http://news.com.com/Apples+iWork+emerges+as+top+rival+to+Microsoft+Office/2100-1012_3-6030011.html?part=rss&tag=6030011&subj=news

Apparently we have 2.7% of the retail market for office suites--which is pretty sweet for a product that works only on Macs. Go us!
