And on the topic of unnatural persistence:

On December 30, I got a shot in the gluteus, with an adhesive bandage on top. The bandage is still there. It's hardly even frayed.

Certainly, part of this is due to a felicitous location; it's not an area where the skin twists and flexes a lot, and it's usually protected by clothes. But some of this has to be due to the bandage as well.

I'm sure I could remove it without difficulty, but at this point I'm idly curious to see how long it will last.
